She is currently a member of the Bethany Community Board of Advisors, past president of the Douglas County Bar Association, a member of the 7th District Bar Association Ethics Committee, past attorney for the local chapter of the Red Cross, and current member of the Alexandria Area Community Foundation Board.
Law Education
Michelle joined the firm in 2000, after working as a judicial clerk in Otter Tail County, Minnesota. She is a 1996 graduate of St. Cloud State University and a 1999 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. She was admitted to the bar in 1999 and the U.S. Federal Court for Minnesota in 2000. She has been a Mentor in a local elementary school since 2001.
